tried the noodle restaurant in town today. and had one of there soup noodle bowls. Personally, I think the soup base could of been better. it was weakish in the both area. the noodles was generally good..... the few wontons they had in it, was pretty good also. and some veggies that was in it too was good too. but just disapointed in the taste of the both thou. next time i go shopping i am going to get some stuff to try my hand in making my own soup noodle bowl idea...... i think i can do a tad better.....it may not have the wontons in it but thats ok. :)
also a up side to the noodle bowl today it wasn't salty which was a plus.
My sisters been also quiting smoking along with me this past week. Since I am the youngest of the 5 girls in the family. (i'm the 9th child, of 4 boys and 4 girls)
One sister we're in in that much touch with so its just us 4 total. And us 4 are on the war path of no smoking. Sisters can be the greatest. And we are always close. Mom would be so proud that we are staying so close. I love my family loads, and wouldn't trade there crazesness for nothing.
I admire that of you. It takes determination and sheer will power to finally get over it. I watched my hubby go thru it and it wasn't easy, but he did it after decades of smoking. The one thing you will enjoy is the smells you get to take in. Foods taste better. There's stuff you never realized smelled so good till you quit LOL. What I still do to see how much I was wasting and now saving is every week, I'd put in a jar how much I would've spent on cigs(packs here are 10 dollars now- when I quit they were about 7). At the end of the year, it becomes the kids mess around money and a nice dinner with some Christmas gifts. Mine only comes out to 5 to 6 hundred dollars since I was not a heavy smoker. But imagine how much money you will be saving? Tons over time:) Keep it up! Not to mention no smokers cough and better health all the way around. Did you know that the lungs have the ability to regenerate new cell tissue over time? Every day of not smoking, you are healing the damaged tissues from smoking bit by bit. This will give you a comparative scale on what to expect.
Crowscat, thank you, so much. i think i am already picking up smells i hadn't before.... like the house smells after all this time of smoking, not bad yet, but thinking worse the longer i don't smoke...... looks like i will be cleaning the house soon, as soon as i am strong enough to do so.(not going into much details of my past week other then, quiting smoking was on the top of my list that i had to do......) and the lungs to repair its self... i hopes so....Going to check out that website...... hugs

It’s very hard to quit the craving will still be there it will haunt you even in your dreams. You say ahh that don’t happen but it does I had many loved ones that smoked and tried to quit cold turkey but, the truth of the matter it’s a lot more harder than you think of. The side effects from smoking are scary enough in their own rights. I hope I don’t have to list them I am sure you know them by heart.
Lets talk....... about Mr. Fred Rogars. His life, and what he ment to you.
Why he was the way he was. I find watching some of his shows from when i grew up on. I find I see his shows with new eyes as a adult as I was first watching him when i was so young. The beauty I see now with him is so profound. The love Fred took in his life, his shows. His kindness and love goes beyond this world soooo many times. I only wish everyone could see and take in just some of what he was....his love and kindness into themslves. I believe if that could be..... the world would be such a better place.
I wish, not a wish for world peace that so many do wish for... but just love, be kind, share with each other. That is my wish.
Growing up in Pittsburg, Fred Rogers has a super special place in my heart. I remember watching him and my parents telling me that he really was our neighbor. He was kind, gentle and wonderful. I loved him dearly and he is such a fond part of my childhood.
